Description:
This course will focus on the principles of mindful self-awareness and personal safety training. Stress management and personal reflective tools will be introduced to provide the student with means to combat the growing academic and societal stresses and the anxiety that accompanies them. Self-defense training has long been employed successfully to help instill confidence and a sense of self-control while offering a means to develop self-awareness and increase self-esteem.
