This class explores the nuances of contemporary arts and entertainment journalism and writing, with special emphasis on creating interactive, digital articles and media that will engage audiences. Students will also read, consume and respond to a wide range of recently published articles, blogs, podcasts and web videos. Students will learn to critically respond to a wide range of film and television media. They will learn to respond critically to media, write appropriate to audience and market and interact with their audience via social media. Students will write articles, reviews, blogs and have the opportunity to create a podcast or web video.
