This course provides a selection of additional introductory/key concepts of quality underlying the operation of a process industry and introduces the student to the most common/basic quality improvement tools, explains how designed experiments are used for collecting data, highlights the purpose of a root cause analysis and function of root cause analysis tools, and describes Six Sigma project stages and their key improvements. The course also highlights the importance of teams in the process industries and how teams affect quality. 1-1-1
