This course introduces the student to the typical concepts of quality underlying the operation of a process industry and the history of the quality movement in the United States. Topics include an introduction to process quality, variability concepts, process capabiity, variables control charts, attributes control charts, and customer expectations. The course will also demonstrate the use of statistics in quality 1-1-1
