Description:
This course is an interdisciplinary science course to prepare students to major and succeed in STEM. The course is designed to explore several themes in STEM to enable STEM students to begin thinking like scientists. Scientific writing, reading, problem-solving, project designs, critical thinking skills will be the focus of the course. Students will work in teams to design projects to solve problems using scientific methods. Students will work with mentors and advisors to plan their curriculum and other supportive activities.
