This course will allow students to critically evaluate the use of various technologies in the assessment of patients/cleints in health sciences research. Processes associated with measurements that influence the accuracy and precision of data drawn from technologies with the health sciences will be introduced and statistical methods for determining the validity and reliability of measurements will be illustrated with practical examples. Advanced methods of signal processing and their influence on the data recorded from different technologies will be applied in practical examples.
