Description:
Introduction to Forensic Science explores the science of forensic science techniques using a structured and scientific approach to the investigation of crimes. Types of evidence such as hair, fibers and textiles, fingerprints, DNA profiling, blood spatter, handwriting analysis, and ballistics will be investigated examining specific techniques used to collect, analyze and evaluate evidence. Through case studies, simulated crime scenes are examined and, using scientific evidence, students will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
