This course introduces theory and practice used to treat water into either safe drinking water or wastewater that is safe to reintroduce to the environment. Topics include different types of pollutants, processes to treat those pollutants, and measuring the impacts of those processes on the performance of a treatment system. This class is not available for graduate credit.
