Institution:
Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania
Subject:
Description:
Methods for analyzing statically determinate and indeterminate structures and loads. Course presents methods for analyzing statically determinate loads, including equations of equilibrium, shear-moment diagrams, and influence lines. Course also presents methods of statically indeterminate loads, including approximations, moment-area theorems, conjugate-beam method, Castigliano's theorem, the force method, and slope-deflection methods.
