HCPCS codes are fully integrated to enhance the student's depth of knowledge. This course will focus on bringing all aspects of coding together and provide the student with a simulated coding internship, preparing them to sit for the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam. Real world chart analysis (abstracting) will be the focus that will provide the student with skill advantage over other medical coders. Note(s): Students must earn a "C" or higher in all HSC courses in order to graduate from the program.
