This course is designed to provide the student with learning experiences in theoretical and the practical skills development in precision grinding operations. The students will use a surface grinder to apply various techniques to make metal parts to blueprint specifications. The students are prepared to take the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS)Level I and Level II certification in grinding.
