This workshop is designed to provide science educators an in depth view of the science involved in sport. By completing this workshop, participants will better understand the use of biology and physics to explain, evaluate, and enhance sport performance. In addition, participants will complete several experiments that demonstrate how science and sport interact. The class sessions, or modules, will be conducted using online courseware. The format of class modules will include a mix of online lectures and discussion, completion of several experiments, as well as the creation of teaching and/or research projects.
