This course provided the student an opportunity to integrate classroom theory and knowledge with the practices of GIS and Remote Sensing (RS) in related GIS consulting firms, governmental agencies and NGOs. The course is designed to promote professional development, expose students to the real world of GIS application, provide challenging and valuable work experience in an environment conducive to learning, and prepare students for future careers in the field of GIS/RS.
