Human Biology is an introductory course that introduces fundamental biological and scientific principles to non-science majors using humans as a model organism. Topics of study include the scientific method, human inheritance, human health and disease, human evolution, and the structure and function of the human body. Emphasis is placed on the organization of the body, nervous systems, special senses, endocrine system and the reproductive systems. This course cannot be used to fulfill major credit in the Science, Health Science or Allied Health programs.
