Methods in Math and Science for the Developing Child (Pre-K-4th Grade) is a performance-based course that focuses on an interdisciplinary approach to the teaching of mathematics and science at the Pre-K-4th Grade school levels. This course fulfills the State of Pennsylvania Framework for Grades Pre-K-4 in mathematics and science. Developmentally appropriate approaches to mathematics and science instruction are addressed. All students are expected to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of the state competencies in math and science. Proof of compentency is all subject matter areas is required to pass this course. Pre-Requisite: None.
