This course meets the objectives of AAS210HON in that it is an interdisciplinary course developed to study the critical and systematic thought and practice of African Americans. A foundationis built o the historical and current recounting of African American thought and practice to call attention to the diverse , dynamic and constantly developing African American character. The course focuses in the root cause of the African American initative and experience in the world across all disciplines. Course material gives agency to African Americans thinking, producting , creating , speaking and problem solving in their own unique way. Pre-Requisite: None (Core General Course) OR The distance Learning version of AAS210HON African American Exper to be offered as an "On-line" course in which more than 80% of the instruction will be completed outside of the classroom.
