This course is designed for students in the Sheet Metal Apprentice program. Students learn welding techniques associated with ferrous and non-ferrous metals thicker than .0625". Use of advanced techniques for both gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) processes are covered. American Welding Society (AWS) welding and certification testing procedures are explained and practiced.
