Description:
Prepares students for careers in the computer technology with an emphasis on troubleshooting strategies, industry standards and documentation, ethical decision making, professional development, and portfolio management. Students are required to create a professional development plan (PDP) and complete a capstone project in addition to formalizing a professional portfolio highlighting work completed throughout the Computer Information Systems AAS program. Prerequisite: CIS 227, ELEC 126, and WEB 102 with grades of C or higher. Corequisite: CIS 227; or permission of the Instructor.
