Clinical course. Provides framework for diagnosis and clinical decision making for the advanced practice nurse. Assessment skills and procedures for individuals across the life cycle will be developed. Information gathered in the assessment process will provide a basis for the evaluation of the health status of individuals. An analysis of an individuals response to wellness and illness will include examination of concepts of cultural influences, health-seeking behaviors, and stress and adaptation. 2 hrs. theory, 3 hrs. lab.
