Gain a deeper understanding of the nature of spoken English and investigate current approaches to the teaching of ESL listening and speaking skills. Learn effective techniques and teaching ideas for ESL listening and speaking. Also learn the integration of listening and speaking with other language skills in ESL teaching. Note: This course counts toward the M.A. or M.Ed. degree in English, but not toward the ESL certification or the BSE Chapter 49-2 ESL requirement.
