Provides an in-depth study of the concepts, policies, practices and research in the field of child welfare and family and children services. This course will provide an introduction to the child welfare field, an overview of the development of services for children, a detailed examination of the provision of services and an exploration of the ethical implications of child welfare practice. This course will be offered in a blended distance education format.
