Description:
This course is required for each MPA student . This course will provide students with experiential opportunities to integrate classroom learning with a relevant problem solving experience in an actual work situation. The course is primarily intended to help the students appreciate first-hand how to bridge public administration theories and practice. Over the course of a semester , the student enrolled in Public Service Learning Project works under the MPA Coordinator/ faculty's oversight to address real challenges affecting a community organization. Public Service Learning Projects offer MPA students a great opportunity to interweave their learning in project management, teamwork, data collection, analysis and reporting and to do so in real time , in an unpredictable , complex , real-world environment. Pre-Requisite: None (Formely titled : Public Administration Internship II)
