Introduces students to basic health assessment for the purpose of determining the health status of a client. Students learn to conduct a comprehensive health history and physical assessment on adults and older adults. Incorporates concepts of human anatomy and physiology in the assessment of clients. Identifies appropriate nursing interventions to promote health.
