Description:
This course allows students to explore ecology and ecosystems while developing an understanding of sustainable systems. Students evaluate the continually changing nature of ecosystems and discuss factors that impact ecosystem survival. Biological system are investigated from an environmental, economic and equity (social justice) point of view. Students learn to critically evaluate these environmental concepts when considering personal, business and community issues.
