Description:
This course covers the use of audio and visual media to tell news stories. Students learn how to use photography, videography, and audio to tell compelling stories. They develop and report multimedia news stories. The course also explores basic concepts of new media as well as the role digital media (aka new media) technologies play in society. Students will engage with digital media technology throughout the course in order to gain practical experience with new media. Students will learn how to plan, design and create multimedia content.
