This course follows a didactic approach to clinical nuclear medicine technology. A review of concepts in anatomy, physiology, pathology, and radiopharmaceuticals are covered as they relate to the clinical and therapeutic procedures outlined in the main topics. This course provides the student with practical knowledge essential to the acquisition of skills in performing nuclear medicine diagnostic examinations and therapeutic procedures.
