This course introduces students to fundamental principles of nursing practice. The focus is on providing basic nursing care to individuals in a variety of health care settings. The student will learn basic skills and begin to practice nursing in a safe manner. Clinical experiences will be obtained in a simulated lab environment as well as in a variety of health care settings. This course meets the general education competency of Technologies Competency (TC).
