Description:
This course continues the study of calculus with the study of functions of several variables. Students will learn about the geometry of two- and three-dimensional space, vector-valued functions, and functions of several variables. Students will investigate these functions with partial derivatives and multiple integration. Vector calculus topics such as Greens, Stokes, and the Divergence Theorems will be covered. Computer software such as Mathematica will be used in problem solving in this course.
