Description:
This course advances the competencies gained in DANC 221; movements and combinations increase in complexity and difficulty to further extend technique and performance ability. In addition to classical ballet, contemporary ballet vocabulary and aesthetics will be introduced, along with examining theories of classical and contemporary ballet. This course may be repeated for a maximum of 6 credits. Course content will be different each semester. Students will be required to attend certain dance events for this course; some may require a fee.
