This course advances students foundational knowledge of jazz dance by improving and refining their skills in performance, technique, and stylistic approaches to the genre. In addition to experiencing several jazz dance movement styles, students will identify, define, and analyze key concepts of jazz dance. This course may be repeated for a total of 6 credits. Course content will be different each semester. Students will be required to attend certain dance events for this course; some may require a fee.
