Description:
The purpose of this course is to give the student a firma foundation in media writing principles as they apply to audio, video and the internet. Various scriptwriting formats and styles will be explored for instructional, non-broadcast and broadcast medium. The course consists of lectures, in-class discussions and pre-production steps required to successfully complete scripts in these areas. Exercises take the form of in-class exercises, group projects and individual productions in a theoretical setting.
