Focuses on assessment methods, including observation, informal, and formal assessment measures to diagnosis and describes stages of reading development among readers, specifically prekindergarten through fourth grades. Uses assessment data to identify and implement literacy instruction for small groups and individual learners. Participation in an education field experience will be required. This course is available for graduate credit.
