This course emphasizes key issues and challenges concerning the teaching of language and content to English language learners. It offers students a variety of research - proven strategies in order to address the mulitple learning needs of English language learners. Taking a step-by-step approach to teaching English language learners, this course also provides students with the basic understanding of surrounding the teaching learning process and English language learners and students of other languages and culture. By presenting ways to modify and adapt their instruction , this course offers students the tools they will need to teach the same content and curriculum to other native and non-native English speaking students.
