Within the education community , there is talk of "The New 3 R's " for the 21st Century: Relevent curriculum , Rigorous curriculum and meaningful Relationships. In this course , you will learn how to design curriculum: curriculum that is relevant and rigorous; curriculum that is rooted in a commitment to building meaningful relationships between you and your students, among your students and between your students and the world. You will work with state standards when designing curriculum and assestment. You also will learn how to design assessments that will enhance student performance , as well as measure it. Offered: Fall Term.
