This course will provide students with the knowledge and understanding of the management function in the construction industry. Topics include the project cycle, company and project organization, financial and budgeting considerations, documentation, monitoring, cost control, etc. Emphasis is placed on the responsibilities of the managers and their relationship to the owner, architect, general contractor and subcontractors including other agents involved in a construction project. Offered fall semester only.
