Description:
This course will cover basic electricity, electronics theory and application. Controls used in both residential and light commercial H.V.A.C. applications will be covered. Indoor comfort design and control strategy. The use of volt/multimeters will be covered in both theory and practical applications, along with troubleshooting methods. Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, series, parallel, series/parallel control circuits will be explained. Various types of heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration controls will be explained, along with wiring demonstrations and individual and group lab projects.
