Child Psychology is the comprehensive study of the development, behavior, and mental processes of children from conception through adolescence. Through exploration of theories, research and application, students will develop an understanding of the interdependence of the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children within the contexts of the family, culture, and social institutions. Students will develop a strong foundation of knowledge and support for the growth and well-being of all children.
