A method of standard construction estimating procedure from take-off to bid. The course includes excavation, concrete, steel, masonry, carpentry, alteration work, mechanical work, electrical work, and general conditions. Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to: Demonstrate fundamental estimating skills; Interpret construction plans and specifications; Develop an estimate to include summaries and costs by category.
