Description:
This course is designed to engage theatre artists and practitioners in the process of collaborating with a playwright on a new work, or generating a new script, and to successfully mount a production of this new work. Students participate through a collaborative process of rehearsal and design, problem-solving and experimentation. Class culminates in a public performance on campus and perhaps another local venue. Permission of instructor via audition, interview, or portfolio review. Course may be repeated for a maximum of 9 credits.
