This course focuses on the study and evaluation of classroom management and learning theories; problems unique to the elementary school; curriculum patterns and innovations in the elementary school today; problems of administration and supervision which affect teacher performance; the impact of federally financed programs upon school organizations; and the relationship of the school to parents and to the community. Pre-professional experiences include visits by public school administrators and teachers, and program involvement within public and private schools. Pre-Requisite: Permission of Instructor.
