This course serves as the foundation for more specialized courses in aquatic science and is designed to help improve the student's skills of observation, data collection, and analysis. The students will be presented with a basic understanding of marine biology as they investigate the uniqueness of the marine environment and the adaptations of life forms to an aquatic existence. Prerequisites: SLF 110, SLF 125, SCH 111.
