This course is the second part of the Biochemistry series: Biochem. I, II, and Lab. Students will be introduced to diversified functions of different classes of proteins, kinetic analysis of enzyme activities, regulatory strategies of enzymatic activities, catalytic mechanisms of some well-characterized enzymes, the major metabolic pathways of energy exchange in cells, molecular pathways of signal transduction through G proteins, and diversified structural and functional features of immunoglobulins.
