Description:
This course emphasizes existing network applications, including remote login, file transfer, and network software development. Aspects of the Berkely version of the Unix operating system are used. A detailed study of Unix internetworking processes will be undertaken. Programming projects will be done on an ethernet containing at least two Unix-based machines.
