HIS 350 - LOCAL & COMMUNITY STUDIES

Institution:
Kutztown University of Pennsylvania
Subject:
History
Description:
The Local and Community Studies course offers a unique opportunity for students, community members, and faculty to develop and accomplish a local history research project as a team. The nature of this course is that as it unfolds we will work together making the adjustments necessary to complete a variety of professor and student derived project before the end of the semester. Therefore, it is not viable to predict exactly what will happen in each class week to week. There will be reading, researching, photography, data entry, presentation, and writing responsibilities over the course of the semester. The research pursued in this course, and the means of presenting one's findings, is only limited by each student's drive and imagination.
