Description:
Studies blood cell maturation, morphology, and function. In addition, this course discusses blood diseases, diagnostic procedures relating to whole blood, and the theory of blood coagulation. Enrollment is restricted to students in the Medical Laboratory Technician AS program. Non-majors need permission of the Program Director. A course fee is required. Prerequisite: MLT 100, 122; and PBT 100 with grades of C or higher.
