3 hours. Prerequisite: Exemption from or successful completion of MATH 0099 and READ 0099. Three hours of lecture each week. This course is a functional approach to algebra that incorporates the use of appropriate technology. Emphasis will be placed on the study of linear, quadratic, piece-wise defined, rational, polynomial, exponential and logarithmic functions, their graphs and applications. Fall, Spring, Summer.
