Description:
Part two of this two-semester course covers mechanics, heat, sound, electricity and magnetism, optics and modern physics using calculus. Three hours of lecture and one hour of recitation each week are required. Students must be enrolled in PHY 161-162, Physics Laboratory. Credit is not allowed for more than one of the three courses: PHY 101-102, PHY 103-104, or GSC 101-102. Corequisite: MAT 121-122
