This course consists of a basic introduction to the formal and conceptual elements of drawing. Students will create independent and collaborative works of art in various dry black and white media on two dimensional surfaces and participate in critique and written evaluation of art. Emphasis is placed on independent visual and conceptual problem-solving through mostly observational and representational drawing.
