This course studies Latinx and Afrolatinx literatures throughout history, focusing on texts from Latin America, the U.S. and Equatorial Guinea. Students will acquire a general knowledge of the history of Latinx and Afrolatinx literatures as well as knowledge of specific texts. Special emphasis will be given to U.S. Afrolatinx literature.
