This second course of a series, examines the economic, political, and social aspects of European Imperialism in Africa beginning with its instrument of partition during 1884-85 Berlin Conference. The course examines the character of European classic colonialism in Africa and the organized Pan-African responses that ultimately led to its overthrow.
